What NetShow Is

What NetShow Is

Picture a pool tech shoulder-deep in a pump housing when his phone rings. He cannot answer it. The caller wanted to know whether the company does spa remodels, and by the fourth ring she has hung up and dialed the next name on her list. That is how a job gets lost. Not to a competitor. To a ringing phone.

NetShow was built for that gap: an agent with a job, a face, and somewhere to live.

A chat window versus an agent

Most AI products hand you a blank chat window. It is a fine window. It also starts every session from nothing you taught it, and it sits on a site you have to visit on purpose.

An agent differs in three ways that matter. It has a job: inbound receptionist, outbound caller, tutor, front-desk greeter. It is judged on whether it does that job well. It has a face, a character that renders live in the visitor's browser and thinks, speaks, and gestures while you watch. And it has a place to live, which is your website or your phone line or your kid's homework hour, rather than a bookmark you keep meaning to open.

Four rooms

NetShow calls the whole of it the Studio, and the Studio has four rooms.

The harness is where the agent is made: instructions, knowledge, memory, and tools. It takes what you wrote about your business and turns it into an agent that answers the way someone trained at your front desk would answer.

NetShow Alive is the presence layer, the animated face. It renders inside the visitor's browser, which is why the embed kit can state plainly that the avatar has no meter. A paid plan covers the conversations and, from Creator up, the voice minutes. The presence layer adds no per-minute cost on top of it.

The factory builds the home. These are agent-first business sites, wired so the character is the front door of the business instead of a widget bolted into a corner.

The marketplace is where the world meets them. It is also the room that answers the fair question a skeptic ought to ask first, which is whether any of this is actually running.

Thirty-eight agents you can check

The web agents tab holds 38 agents across four pages. The first page lists twelve, and most of them belong to real businesses. Prestige Pool Services handles pool service, repair, remodeling and construction across Mission Viejo and South Orange County. Rose's Sugar Shack Cafe is a family-owned breakfast and lunch spot in San Clemente, open since 1987. SunRay Solar Pool Pumps engineers hybrid AC/DC solar pool pumps in Dana Point. There is an AI-native home inspection company for Orange County, a pond filtration business in Laguna Hills, an LFP battery-system company for golf carts, boats and RVs. A few of the listings are NetShow's own, including an internal avatar quality bench, and the cards say so.

Every card is free to try, and every card carries the same actions: Try Agent, Profile, Chat (Text), Use with My LLM, Voice. You can browse them at the web agents tab and open any agent's use door, such as Prestige Pool Services, where a trial conversation needs no signup at all.

Ten agents are already at work on the Alive meet page. Caden answers before the second ring. Christina keeps a full call list moving. Eli Syntax teaches WordPress to people who are learning. Each one started the way yours would: pick a face, give it a job.

What it knows, and what it does not

The trust story here is smaller than the usual claim and has the advantage of being true. Your agent knows what you selected and authorized, meaning the documents you gave it and the description you wrote. What it knows is visible to you and correctable when it is wrong. Access is revocable. When an agent goes public, its full instruction set stays private and is served by reference only.

Now the limits, in the same size type. Voice is gated by plan. The Free and Starter tiers carry zero voice minutes; minutes begin on Creator at $29 a month, thirty of them, and the plans page holds the rest of the numbers. Serious actions stay supervised by design, and one message to the team cancels a subscription.

Where to start

Meeting an agent is free. Trying one is free. Creating your own starts free, and money enters the picture only when you want more capacity.

Start in the Studio. Four rooms, one road, and a first conversation that costs nothing.
